PRE-CARE INSTRUCTIONS

Please read through our easy Pre-care instructions to get your scalp prepared for your upcoming SMP appointment.
DO NOT Ignore these steps as they will affect the outcome of your procedure.


Please Read Carefully
Following pre-care procedures for scalp micropigmentation is crucial; neglecting these guidelines can result in uneven, blotchy outcomes and additional sessions due to pigment retention issues on dry skin. Please do not overlook these instructions and order the necessary products shown BELOW.
For Your Skin

MOISTURIZER
CeraVe is must buy to make sure your scalp is in perfectly moisturized for your procedure. Moisturize 2-3 times daily before your scheduled appointment.

EXFOLIATOR
Exfoliating cream is a must buy to make sure your dead skin cells are removed for a healthy layer to grow. Exfoliate every OTHER day until your scheduled treatment.

For Your Hair

SKULL SHAVER
Perfect For clients that have very dense & coarse hair on their sides and back. This is the preferred shaver for SMP.

INSTRUCTIONS
10 Days Before Your Appointment

MOISTERIZE & EXFOLIATE
Start exfoliating EVERY 2 DAYS and apply moisturizer cream to your scalp 2-3 times daily. Repeat this process every day until the day of your procedure.

CHEMICALS
Stop using any medications such as Minoxidil, Rogaine, Finasteride, Propecia until you're done with your treatment

HYDRATE
Make sure you drink plenty of water the week before your procedure to ensure you skin is in the best possible condition (6 bottles per day)

THE DAY BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT

HAIRCUT
Buzz your hair on the day before your procedure, do NOT shave your scalp with a razor. Use a Buzzer or Foil Shaver. suggested length is a #00 length unless discussed otherwise with your practitioner.
**Note - If You're keeping your hair long? (Male & Female Hair Density Procedures) - Cut to desired length if needed

MOISTURIZE
Moisturize your scalp 2-3 times per day and wash your scalp with natural shampoos.

CHEMICALS
If you currently use any hair concealers, hair fibers, hair spray, minoxidil, chemicals etc. DO NOT apply anything the day before your treatment.

CONFIRM
The day before your appointment, you should receive a text asking you to confirm your appointment.
THE DAY OF YOUR APPOINTMENT

WASH
On the morning of your procedure, make sure to wash your scalp with only water. DO NOT use any soap or shampoo.

CHEMICALS
If you currently use any hair concealers, hair fibers, hair spray, minoxidil, chemicals etc. DO NOT apply anything on the day of your treatment.

DRUGS
Do not consume alcohol or drugs before the treatment, with the exception of medication prescribed by your doctor. If you need Pain Management, Tylenol is the only approved medication.

EAT & DRINK
Drink and eat something prior to your arrival.

ARRIVE ON TIME
Please arrive on time for your appointment. If you're late, the appointment night have to be rescheduled in order to respect the client appointment after you.
Ignoring these instructions will have a great impact on your results and can lead to additional SMP sessions needed.
