SMP PRE-CARE INSTRUCTIONS
HELP US, HELP YOU ACHIEVE THE BEST RESULTS
Please read through our easy Pre-care instructions to get your scalp prepared for your upcoming SMP procedure.
DO NOT Ignore these steps as they will affect the outcome of your procedure.


FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY
TO ENSURE A SUCCESSFUL TREATMENT
7 DAYS BEFORE YOUR PROCEDURE

MOISTERIZE
Start applying a moisturizer cream, such as Cocoa Butter or Nivea After-Sun moisturizer to your scalp EVERY NIGHT and wash it out in the morning. Repeat this process every night until the day of your procedure.

CHEMICALS
Stop using any medications such as Minoxidil, Rogaine, Finasteride, Propecia until you're done with your treatment

HYDRATE
Make sure you drink plenty of water the week before your procedure to ensure you skin is in the best possible condition

THE DAY BEFORE YOUR PROCEDURE

HAIRCUT
Buzz your hair on the day before your procedure, do NOT shave your scalp with a razor or foil machine. The suggested length is a #00 length with a T-Liner buzzer ($35 on Amazon) unless discussed otherwise with your practitioner.

MOISTURIZE & EXFOLIATE
Exfoliate then moisturize your scalp before you go to bed (light exfoliation to remove any dead skin).

CHEMICALS
If you currently use any hair concealers, hair fibers, hair spray, minoxidil, chemicals etc. DO NOT apply anything the day before your treatment.

CONFIRM
The day before your appointment, you should receive a text asking you to confirm your appointment.
THE DAY OF YOUR PROCEDURE

WASH
On the morning of your procedure, make sure to wash your scalp really well to remove any residue left over from the moisturizer.

CHEMICALS
If you currently use any hair concealers, hair fibers, hair spray, minoxidil, chemicals etc. DO NOT apply anything on the day of your treatment.

DRUGS
Do not consume alcohol or drugs before the treatment, with the exception of medication prescribed by your doctor. If you need Pain Management, Tylenol is the only approved medication.

EAT & DRINK
Drink and eat something prior to your arrival.

ARRIVE ON TIME
Please arrive on time for your appointment. If you're late, the appointment night have to be rescheduled in order to respect the client appointment after you.
